Top 10 Beauty Products of 2016

I finally feel like myself again, I’ve been writing blog posts and getting back into Instagram and posting daily (PS I HAVEA GIVEAWAY CURRENTLY HAPPENING!). I finally feel human again after the longest time! But anyway I thought for my next few posts ill be doing 2016 wrap-ups! For example this one of course and a few other posts I have up my sleeve.
So lets kick this right off with my top 10 beauty products of 2016!

1. Cane + Austin 2% / 10% Acne Retexture Pad + || Not even lying when I say this but these pads have completely changed my skin. I used to have really painful and annoying acne/pimples that would pop up out of nowhere while I was using a prescription gel I got from my dermatologist. I read a few things about this and bit the bullet, spent the money and just bought it. I used this and I really did notice a difference. I have not had a cystic pimple in months. Pimples do still pop up from time to time but it is nothing like it was and I’m so thankful for that!

2. Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Press Powder || This powder has been my favorite powder for years now and I go through this stuff like its going out of style. With my skin type I always want to keep my products the same and not really switch it up and when I find something that works, I keep using it. This is one of those products, it works, it doesn’t break me out or give me a reaction and it keeps me matte! What’s not to like!

3. Revlon Colorstay Combination/Oily Foundation || This is the same; once I find something that works I keep with it. THIS WORKS. It covers well, gives me the staying power I want and its easy to find. This combined with my next two products and the product above is my ultimate holy grail!

4. Benefit The Porefessional Primer || Like the two above, same story. I also want to point out that I really do see a difference in my pores. This primer combined with my skincare routine, (comment if you would like an updated skincare routine!) my pores are looking great and this really helps keep them small when I put it on.

5. NYX HD Concealer || Now like the three above, same thing. I saw Casey Holmes recommend this concealer and have been repurchasing ever since. It really is one of the best drugstore concealers I have ever used. It gives me great coverage and even though I don’t use it under my eyes and use it to conceal little marks/imperfections it still is fantastic!

6. Kylie Cosmetics Koko Lip Kit || UGH. TAKE ALL MY MONEY KYLIE JENNER, JUST TAKE IT! I must say I was extremely hesitant of buying her makeup when it first came out but let me tell you, best liquid lip on the market in my opinion. I have used Koko, Maliboo, all the products from the Koko Collection and the Merry liquid lipsticks and some of the liners. Koko clearly is my favorite because duh it’s named after me and it’s actually become my signature color. It’s the perfect pinky nude for my skin tone!

7.  Colourpop Bestie Ultra Glossy Lip || I always wanted to try Colourpop and I saw a deal they had going on and just ordered! I got a bunch of different lip products but this one is by far my favorite. I will wear this on my “natural” makeup day just because it’s so pretty and looks super glossy on my lips and of course perfect color for my skin tone.

8. L’Oreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara || I saw Farah Dhukai using this in so many of her videos and just had to buy it. It gave her such a fake lash look without fake lashes. Clearly you can see just from this post if I see one good thing about a product I go and get it and 99% of the time get lucky! This mascara is AMAZING! It’s a primer and mascara and it really gives you amazing lashes!!

9. Essence Lash Princess Mascara || Before I found the L’Oreal mascara I was using this for MONTHS. Also want to mention, YOU MUST GET THE GREEN ONE! The orange one is nowhere near as good as the green in my opinion. This mascara is cheaper then a Starbucks drink and works so great for a girl on a budget and even with all my mascaras I always go back to this one. It truly gives you that fake lash look but nothing clumpy or gross, YAY!

10. Batiste Dry Shampoo With a Hint of Color || HOLY GRAIL. I legit hate washing my hair and it makes me just want to drown in my own shampoo because its that much of a task for me, I swear, I am clearly not exaggerating. This has basically saved so much water and time for me this year because all I do when I’m feeling greasy is spray this in, brush and tease and I’m done and leaving the house. If you haven’t tried the color one, you’re missing out big time!

Hope you enjoyed my top 10 favorite beauty products of 2016 and now I want to hear about yours! Comment with your top three products and because I have #SUCKER written on my forehead, chances are ill try it!
